Tamilisai Soundararajan appointed as Telangana Governor
Tamil Nadu political leaders greeted BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan. She has been appointed as the Telangana Governor. DMK chief MK Stalin has wished her over the phone call.
Stalin also tweeted that “I wish my comes from a famous Tamil political family, all the best. I hope she will work for the downtrodden and will maintain values as per the Constitution after taking charge as governor,” he said.
Meanwhile, by DMK and Stalin claims of decision Tamilisai expressed “When there is opposition for each and everything, how can there be growth,” she said.
Tamil Nadu Congress Committee chief KS Alagiri congratulated her and also said “Though we have had the war of words over several issues and our policies are poles apart, still she maintained dignity in her reactions and speech. The post of Governor will fit her best,” he said.
DMK chief K Veeramani also wised her “Though we were divided at the policy level, still I used to call her as my dear daughter as her father Kumari Ananthan and I were students in Annamalai University,” he said.
Senior Congress leader Ananthan said, “It is due to hard work she has reached this level and I wish her.”
PMK chief S Ramadoss said, “At a very young age, she has been appointed Governor and I wish her to work for the people of Telangana after understanding their issues.” And also AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran said “I am happy to know that a Tamilisai has been appointed the governor of Telangana and I congratulate Tamilisai,” he said.
State minister Kadambur C Raju said “She is qualified for the position. She is a doctor and being an educated and qualified person, we fielded her from Tuticorin. If she has won she would have become a union minister with a powerful portfolio. But people of this district failed to make use of the opportunity.”
