Tamilisai Soundararajan criticizes AIADMK opposing triple talk bill for votes

AIADMK MPs have opposed the Bill of the Triple Talaq in the Rajya Sabha. While the BJP state Chief Tamilisai Soundararajan criticized that as 'vote bank politics' in Vellore Lok Sabha election.

Soundararajan said, 'DMK is using the issues as a vote bank strategy in the Vellore election. I think the AIADMK is taking a similar stand to avoid losing the vote bank. It is wrong,' she said.

Former CM Jayalalithaa also objected the bill. But later several changes were made to protect the rights of Muslim women. “If a political party is opposing it, they are doing it for political gains,” she said.

“I am not talking to them (AIADMK) daily. But I urge the leaders and the party to extend their support to the bill,” she said. Latter AIADMK’s MP P Raveendranath Kumar had supported the bill in Lok Sabha. But the MPs of Party were opposed against the Bill in Rajya Sabha. However, Raveendranath was assigned candidate for election committee of Ambur segment in Vellore Lok Sabha constituency. Which is 3.5 lakh majority vote of total 14.32 votes?
