Harish, son of former Lok Sabha speaker Balayogi has been offered with Amalapuram ticket from Telugu Desam party. The party leadership has taken this crucial decision down turning the ticket to Amalapuram MLA Anand Rao, P Gannavaram MLA Pulaparthi Narayana Murthy and Prathipadu MLA Varupula Subba Rao.
Following the surveys held in the constituency, the three sitting MLAs are said to be performing below the bars set by the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. With various issues still prevailing and not being interactive with the people of the constituency, the MLAs has accumulated negative vibes in their constituencies.
With 19 assembly segments, the Godavari districts are said to be the center for politics and TDP has a complete hold on them. 3 new people got a chance this time, while 16 other MLAs have their seats confirmed.
MLA Subba Rao's grandson Raja was also offered the Prathipadu ticket and murmurs that Gannavaram assembly seat is allotted to a reputed advocate's daughter whose identity is not revealed by TDP.
