'TDP has confidential voter's data'- G.V.L. Narasimha Rao
The data theft case between the two Telugu states is taking interesting turns with the political interferences. Recently, G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, one of the BJP leaders made allegations on TDP that the party is misusing its power to collect the voters' data.
He alleged that TDP is profiling the voters' data and is deleting the votes of people who are in support with the opposition. “TDP is intruding the privacy of people by stealing their data. The party is in the thirst of winning again which made them join hands with some private companies to find out who is buying Sakshi newspaper,” he noted.
Narasimha Rao also said that TDP has the personal data of the voters like their caste details which plays a major role in voting. “It is unfortunate that the ruling party is involved in such unethical surveys. After everything is exposed, TDP is now scared,” he accused.
In a press meet in New Delhi, Narasimha Rao fired his comments on Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh calling for further investigation. He questions if Lokesh is urging all the IT companies to invest in Amaravati, why were IT Grids still working from Hyderabad. “Chandrababu Naidu claims that he has created Cyberabad and brought IT investments. Now, he also knows how to steal people's data," he said, making allegations on AP Chief Minister.
He then appealed to the Election Commission to take up the issue on a serious note as it influences the voting in the next elections. “We will soon approach Election Commission as we are waiting for the notification to be out," stated GVL.
On the other hand, KTR opened up about the case in a recent press meet. He slammed the TDP party on the data theft and challenged Chandrababu Naidu to face the investigation.
