TDP to fight alone in upcoming elections without any Alliance!
TDP, under Chandrababu leadership, has decided for the first time to contest the upcoming parliamentary and assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh on its own. The decision would mean that there will be no Grand Alliance of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) with any other party in Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, TDP had jointly with Congress contested recent Assembly elections in Telangana but faced crushing defeat. But here in AP, People of Andhra still accuse the Congress of dividing the state and even for not granting it special status. Definitely, it has an adverse effect. In such a scenario, there is no alternative for the TDP other than going solo. Now, it is a direct fight between the YSR Congress, TDP and Janasena.
Apart from TDP, all other major political parties in Andhra Pradesh YSRCP, Janasena, Congress and BJP too contesting alone without any alliance, irrespective considering their strengths. Will Naidu give a tough fight to Jagan and Pawan without any alliance? Let's wait and watch!
