After two months of taking the oath of office as Chief Minister for Telangana, Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao has confirmed cabinet expansion after a meet with Honourable Governor ESL Narasimhan.
After the December 2018 assembly elections, KCR was sworn in as Chief Minister on December 13, along with Mahmood Ali who was deputy chief minister in the earlier ministry also and was given the home portfolio.
February 19th will be the date for the swearing ceremony of new ministers which will commence at 11:30 AM according to the Raj Bhavan sources. In accord to the TRS Party sources KTR, the working president of TRS wants the cabinet with newcomers keeping aside the seniors, who would play a major role in the coming Parliament elections. KCR has already held key discussions with prominent party leaders about the portfolios.
KCR has also confirmed the budget sessions from February 22nd to 25th. This time the Telangana State government will introduce the vote-on-account budget instead of a full-fledged one. Whatever it may, all the speculations will come to an end in a few days.
