Telangana government to stall buses to AP a day before polls?
Proving the allegation that the ruling party in Telangana is trying to interfere into the politics in Andhra Pradesh, TRS had taken one more step giving scope to controversies. If the rumors are to be believed, the Telangana government is planning to put the buses on hold on April 10, the day before the elections.
About 50 Lac Andhraites who have settled in Telangana are all set to cast their votes in their respective constituencies as a part of which a holiday was declared for them to reach their native places. On this note, a heavy rush is expected in railway stations and bus junctions at least from two days prior the big day. Officials have also confirmed the fact that 70 percent of the tickets were already reserved in both public and private travels.
If the media reports circulated on social media are to be believed, the Telangana government is trying to stall AP people from traveling to their native places from Telangana. Seems like TRS has made up its mind to hold the RTC buses which are in the hands of the government. To everybody’s surprise, the government is also likely to stall the private travels also which might result in loss of the vote right for many of the Seemandhra people living in various parts of Telangana.
This decisions taken by TRS has come to a shock which was termed as a naive move from a party with many senior leaders. This is also creating unnecessary panic in the public. KCR and KTR are now facing allegations that his government is doing this deliberately to reduce the voting percentage which would apparently affect the results for TDP.
