‘Telangana people should vote wisely against sentiments and emotions’: Pawan Kalyan

As a part of their election campaigning together, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan and BSP President Mayawati have graced the public meeting at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. As part of this, Pawan made interesting comments on Telangana revolution and the leaders of TRS.

Pawan said that there is a huge difference between fighting against Andhra leaders and Andhra people. “KCR has made the revolution political triggering unnecessary clashes between people of Andhra and Telangana. If I were to lead the Telangana movement, I would have shown all tough times to the Andhra rulers but not its people,” he added.

Referring to TRS and Modi’s government Pawan questioned as of how can a government work without proper Opposition in a democratic country like India. He said that he didn’t like the way KCR targets Andhra people with his comments. Pawan then appealed to the Telangana people to vote wisely rather being carried away by sentiment and emotion. “There is a need for young blood and women to foray into the politics especially in the state like Telangana. Many sacrificed their lives for the sake of separate Telangana and it is complete injustice that youth is not given a chance to enter the corridors of the Assembly,” Pawan lashed out.

He then went all praise for Mayawati and that he wanted to see her as the Prime Minister. "When a chaaiwala can be a PM, why can't Mayawati be? Born in a Dalit family, Mayawati struggled her way to the top. Not like the ones who are effortlessly achieving things being blessed with a father who is CM belonging to the upper caste,” he added. Did Pawan Kalyan mention Kavita and KTR?
