The vote on the account state budget of Telangana will be presented in the state legislative assembly on February 22nd at 11.30 AM. The assembly session will commence on 22nd February and will be held till 25th February. After the presentation of the budget on the next day and the appropriation bill will be adopted by the house, according to a press release issued by the Chief Minister’s office on Thursday.
But it is not clear who will present the budget as Chief Minister KCR has not yet constituted a full Cabinet. KCR and Home Minister Mahmood Ali were only the people that oath have been taken till date. Since then, TRS chief kept aspirants of ministerial berths guessing about the cabinet expansion.
Currently, there is no Finance minister for Telangana. If the situation remains the same until February 22nd, then KCR himself will present the budget.
Reports say that KCR formulated the vote on account budget in a review meeting with Chief Secretary S.K.Joshi, Finance Advisor G.R.Reddy and others, by that we can see KCR himself presenting the budget on Feb 22nd?
