The secret behind TDP’s confidence over the win
With the Election Commission declared that the poll percentage is 76.69, both the ruling and opposition parties expressed their confidence over the victory. As TDP is banking on the welfare schemes, YSCRP is positive that the results will be in their favor.
Amidst this, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has claimed that their party would win not less than 130 assembly seats out of the 175. While the media and political circles are taken by surprise, even TDP party cadre, fans and followers expressed their confidence over the comfortable victory in 2019 elections. So what might be the reason behind their certainty?
According to the credible information, TDP is going by the statistics of various welfare schemes launched by the party. In their four years of tenure, TDP has launched a number of welfare schemes especially to attract the women beneficiaries. Schemes like Pasupu Kumkuma, Anna canteens, Chandranna Bharosa, and farmer loan waiver has clicked well with the citizens.
According to the stats, there is 3 crore citizenship in AP out of which 97 lakh voters belong to Dwcra groups, 50 lakh voters are pensioners and another 50 lakh voters are farmers. This time about 10 lakh new voters have registered and another 30 lakh are youth voters. Even if 85% of DWCRA women, farmers and pensioners voted for TDP, the win would be a cakewalk for the yellow party.
On the other hand, YSRCP cadre is determined that this time the winner would be on their side as the people of AP wanted a change. Say it confidence or overconfidence, numbers don’t lie and we have to wait for May 23rd, the big day which decides the fate of AP.
