TRS and TDP oppose the exit polls!
The ruling parties in both the Telugu states, TDP and TRS have rejected the results of exit polls. On Sunday both said that they do not believe in the exit polls as they may turn wrong.
Most of the exit polls predicted the emphatic victory of the YSRCongress Party being led by Jagan Mohan Reddy and showed that TRS losing two or so seats against their strong expectations of winning all 16 seats in Telangana with one seat going to AIMIM.
Even at the center, they expressed their confidence in BJP led NDA to form the government again which Naidu and Chandra Sekhar Rao won’t get pleased at all.
Andhra Pradesh CM Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu tweeted,” Time and again exit polls have failed to catch the People’s pulse. Exit polls have proved to be incorrect and far from ground reality in many instances. While undoubtedly TDP govt will be formed in AP, we are confident that non-BJP parties will form a non-BJP govt at the centre”.
On the other side, TRS spokesman Abid Rasool Khan said that the exit polls don’t reflect the true picture at all and the result will certainly be opposed to the exit polls. He expressed his confidence in the plans of the federal front by TRS party at the centre.
