A 23-year-old woman, who has been disappearing from the Shahjahanpur of Uttar Pradesh for approximately a week, was discovered in Rajasthan, the police said today, on a day the Supreme Court will take up her case.
A strong leader of the BJP, Chinmayanand, was charged with sexual harassment and kidnapping by the woman's dad. The UP police said in a tweet that the woman was discovered and brought home with a friend. The female was situated in Rajasthan by Shahjahanpur police along with her buddy in the episode of Shahjahanpur. Relevant legal action is being taken.
The police searched for her across Delhi, UP and Rajasthan in many locations and used electronic surveillance to track her down, Uttar Pradesh Police OP Singh Director-General informed. "She's greedy and hearty. It would seem she's gone to different locations out of her own will," he said.
The female, a law student, was kidnapped on Saturday after posting a Facebook video claiming that a "Sant Samaj's large leader" had "demolished many other girls ' life and threatened to kill her as well."
She asked for support from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister. The video of the woman has been commonly distributed on social media. Her dad criticized Chinmayanand, the former union minister who chairs the college management where the lady is studying, based on her video.
Only Tuesday, three days after she was going to miss, the police submitted the case of the family, accusing Chinmayanand of kidnapping and criminal harassment. However, there was no questioning of the former MP. His lawyer claimed the claims were wrong and attempted to bilk the politician.
