India Cricket team captain Virat Kohli broke his silence on the issue of playing Pakistan in the ICC World Cup after he was quizzed on the topic at the press conference ahead of the T20I series against Australia on Saturday.
Kohli reiterated the sentiments of coach Ravi Shastri, Speaking to the media in Visakhapatnam, Virat said, "We will stand by the decision the government and BCCI takes. We will respect the decision they take and that is the team's opinion as well." on behalf of the entire Indian team, Virat offered his condolences to the families of CRPF jawans who lost their lives in Pulwama attack. Even India head coach Ravi Sashtri had a similar opinion about the issue.

Recently Master blaster Sachin opined through twitter that India should play against Pakistan and should also defeat them. We should not let Pakistani team take 2 points just like that. while former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly called for a ban and said that India should not play against Pakistan in World Cup. Republic news channel Managing director Arnab Goswami went ahead and called Sachin an anti-nationalist for his statement.
