Virat Kohli posts Squad picture, fans ask, Where is Rohit Sharma?

After a practice session ahead of the 1st T20I vs. West Indies in Florida, Kohli took social media on Friday to post a photo of himself with India teammates. Virat Kohli posted a picture on Twitter with some of his team-mates captioned 'SQUAD'. In the photo, you can see posing Kohli with Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Navdeep Saini, Shreyas Iyer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed and Krunal Pandya.

The vice-captain “Rohit Sharma” is missing in the picture. The rumours began first after India in the competition went out of the World Cup with a loss to New Zealand. The rumours of the rift within the Indian team refused to die down.
Since India bowed out of the World Cup after their semi-final loss to New Zealand, reports of a rumoured rift between Kohli and Rohit made the rounds. Fans couldn't assist but ask about the absence of Rohit from Kohli's photo. But fans quickly derived another meaning of the post. The fans said, “SQUAD is incomplete without Rohit Sharma”.
Meanwhile, before leaving for the West Indies tour, Virat Kohli had attempted to douse the flames. The rift rumours had been rubbished by the Indian star stating the tales were baseless. Virat Kohli explained “In my opinion it's baffling, to be honest. It's absolutely ridiculous to read such stuff that comes out. I have been to a few public events and the sentiment is 'aap log kya khele (you guys played so well”.
