Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said PM Modi's "visionary leadership has helped India in scaling new heights of glory". "Inspired by your untiring efforts to serve our nation," Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted.
In the stroke of midnight, BJP workers led by party MP Manoj Tiwari celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday at India Gate in Delhi. The BJP workers waved placards and party flags and raised slogans hailing PM Modi. They also cut a cake that had 370 and 35A written on it in an apparent reference to Article 370 and Article 35A.
Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi wished PM Narendra Modi a healthy, happy and long life on his 69th birthday on Tuesday. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also wished him, tweeting, "We wish him a long and healthy life." Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tweeted, "Wishing him a long, healthy and successful life ahead in service of the Nation."
Actor Sanjay Dutt and Randeep Hooda on Tuesday wished PM Narendra Modi on his birthday. "May our nation soar to greater heights...under your leadership and may you continue being the guiding light for India," Sanjay wrote on Twitter. Meanwhile, Randeep wrote, "To the hardest worker in any room. The man who has risen from amongst us... #HappyBdayPMModi."
Along with them, almost all Chief Minister of the country took their twitter handles to wish Modi a very good Happy Birthday.
