Why are the leading parties not rolling out the manifestos?
There is no other big thing right now besides the state assembly polls. All the parties big and small are busy campaigning all over the state but here comes the twist in the tale. Neither of the parties, ruling Telugu Desam and opposition YSR Congress haven’t released the election manifesto yet. While the budding party like Jana Sena has released an enthralling manifesto well ahead.
With only half a month left for the elections, it is high time that the parties roll out their manifestos which would help the voters in taking better decision. If the inside sources are to be believed, YSRCP chief Jagan is quite downhearted with the party officials at Lotus Pond who are still in the brainstorming stage regarding manifesto. It was also heard that Jagan is pressurising the party cadre to come up with a striking manifesto which would attract votes from all the segments.
Seems like YSRCP has a major jolt with the defeat in 2014 elections after which the party is now taking no chance and is working toward victory by hook or crook. Last time when Jagan was all set to hit success, TDP stole the show with key alliances.
On the other hand, TDP which impressed the voters in previous polls with promises like farm-loan waiver and pensions is all set to release its manifesto with stunning schemes. But gossip that Babu is waiting for YSRCP to take the first move is doing rounds in the political circles. Babu is probably under this notion such that he will come up with the finest manifesto that is better than the oppositions.
