YS Vivekananda Reddy dies of heart attack at 68
YS Vivekananda Reddy, Former agriculture minister and younger brother of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy breathed his last in the early hours of Friday. In his residence at Pulivendula, Vivekananda is said to have suffered an impulsive cardiac arrest which led to his death.
According to the media reports, Vivekananda is found lying on the floor by the housemaid around 6.20 AM who informed the news to relatives. All the family and friends were left in shock with his sudden demise.
The 68-year-old politician was born on Born on August 8, 1950, in Pulivendula. Graduated from SV agriculture University in Tirupati, he has served the state as an MLA, MLC, MP in his political tenure. He also represented Pulivendula constituency in the years 1989, 1994 and in the years 1999 and 2004, he worked as MP from Kadapa. YS Vivekananda Reddy served as agriculture minister under the leadership of Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Lately, YS Vivekananda Reddy has quit Congress party to which he remained loyal for years and joined YSRCP founded by his nephew Y. S. Jagan. His wife and daughter are apparently in America and the last rites will be held in Idupulapaya once they return back.
