YSRCP flags spotted at Modi's public meeting at Kurnool
Heating up the election scenarios in Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a visit to Kurnool on Friday campaigning for BJP. To everyone’s surprise, the meeting also witnessed the workers and supporters of YSRCP hinting the secret affinity between the two parties.
With a national leader and country’s Prime Minister attending a public meeting, the state police had made necessary arrangements with utmost security. On proper scrutiny, the police have caught hold of a few people with YSRCP flags and scarfs in their pockets upon which the police denied the entry to them. They have even found the placards and banners displaying the slogans supporting YSRCP.
Surprisingly the BJP officials who are organizing the meeting did not object even after noticing YSRCP flags. The fact that YSRCP chief is staying tight-lipped about BJP and not taking his name in the election campaigning is already fueling the gossips that something else is brewing between the two parties. Incidents like these raise speculations among the political circles that BJP is shadowing YSRCP here.
