YSRCP prefers Daggubati Venkateswara Rao over his son
YSR Congress Party is struck in high dilemma upon MLA ticket from Purchuru constituency. Hitesh Chenchuram, son of Daggubati Venkateswara Rao who joined the party with an assurance of MLA ticket has now got a shock from the high commander that his father would be their preference over him.
Abuzz is that YCP Leadership has got feedback from an unofficial survey that Hitesh Chenchuram has very fewer chances of winning. The survey also has suggested that though Venkateswara Rao has better chances to will, he didn’t have enough following to beat the contestants from other parties like TDP MLA Eluru Sambasiva Rao.
Daggubati Venkateswara Rao has earned goodwill with his contributions to the Parchuru Constituency which brought him an establishment apart from being NTR's Son-in-Law. However, Daggubati has stayed away from the active politics which decreases his chances of winning. But he would no doubt give a tough fight to the TDP contestants who will be fighting against him.
Whoever contests, either the father or son, the party will no doubt receive support from the Daggubati family who have a special bond with the people of Purchuru constituency.
