Bigg Boss is a highly popular reality show on the Telugu television arena. Right from its season one in 2017, the show is breaking its own records by registering the highest TRP ratings. After three successful seasons, the makers of the show planned to start season 4 in June this year. But the COVID-19 pandemic has ruined all their plans. All the film and television shootings are on a halt for the last two and a half months. This rose the speculations of the cancellation of Bigg Boss Telugu season 4. But the sources close to the makers of the show revealed that there is no truth in the news. They stated that the show will begin in August this year and Nagarjuna will continue as the host.
Speaking to Indian Express in a recent interview, the source said that the producers of Bigg Boss planned to launch season 4 in June. They had planned to sort out celebrities in May. But due to the COVID-19, the plans got put on a hold. Now, as there are signs of shoots getting resumed from June, the makers of Bigg Boss will sort out housemates list in June and July. They will launch the show in August. The source also rubbished the rumors of Nagarjuna walking out of the show. Nag will host season 4 as well and there is no second thought about it.
We hear that popular anchor Varshini Soundararajan, actors like Tharun and Allari Naresh will take part in this new season. However, there is no official confirmation about this news.
