Bobby Kolli is the director of Waltair Veerayya, and the director is being hailed for his writing and direction skills. He has truly managed to capture the magic of vintage Chiranjeevi. He showcased Chiru in an out-and-out mass and commercial manner. There have been massive expectations for Waltair Veerayya ever since it was announced, and they were met, upon the film's release. The response to Waltair Veerayya upon its release was universally positive, and the collections of the film have been very good as well. The film has already entered the top 5 list, and that too on the 4th day itself.
Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of this film, in which Ravi Teja has played an important part. Even though Ravi Teja was seen for a brief period in the film, his impact on the overall story is massive. His scenes with Chiru in the second half are entertaining and heart-touching as well. Their body language and dance move highly entertained the audiences. Devi Sri Prasad's songs and background music have been received very well by the audience and turned out to be an asset for the film.
Waltair Veerayya also features Prakash Raj, Catherine Tresa, Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, and several others in important roles.
