Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra inaugurated the first Himalayan Film festival. The film festival opened with the actor’s new film ‘Shershaah’.

 
Popular films from 12 Himalayan states will have their screening in the first edition of the Himalayan Film Festival. The five-day festival is being held at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra Leh.

‘Shershaah,' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, went on to become a huge digital hit. The film was released in August, and the public is still praising Vishnu Vardhan's direction.
 
Kiara Advani, the female lead of the film wrote on Instagram that her heart is in Leh. The actress is currently busy shooting in Mumbai. “Physically in Mumbai but my Heart is in Ladakh! Leh will always feel extra special as I gave my first ever shot for my very first film in this beautiful town, it's such a proud moment seeing our film Shershaah being honored at the First Himalayan Festival;” wrote Kiara.
 
Shershaah is a biographical war film directed by Vishnuvardhan. The film tells the story of Param Vir Chakra-awardee Captain Vikram Batra. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
