Aamir Says: Will Be Heartbroken If People Don’t Like The Film

In Koffee With Karan, Laal Singh Chaddha actors Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan took the couch in episode five of Season 7. They discussed a variety of subjects, such as the recent box office success of Hindi films and the dismal box office performance of some of the films. When Karan Johar questioned Aamir Khan about his upcoming movie and whether he was anxious about the outcome, the actor acknowledged that he was.

Are you stressed? Karan Johar questioned him. Of course, I'm stressed, Kaise Sawaal pooch Raha hai yaar (What type of questions are you asking?) Aamir then responded. When she heard Aamir's statement, Kareena was taken aback and said, "Are you? But you seem quite assured?" We are happy that we made a decent movie, but if people don't like it, we'll be devastated, he added, "Film logon ko Pasand Nahin Aayi, Bahut Dil Toot Jaayega."

Then, Karan Johar discussed how poorly Hindi movies are doing at the box office and questioned Aamir about any changes in how people are consuming media. Aamir's role in films like Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, and Taare Zameen Par, which also altered public perceptions, was also made fun of by Karan. "No, no, you're mistaken, these are the films of the heartland, which have emotion and people relate to them," Aamir retorted. Every home has children, according to Taare Zameen Par, and Rang De Basanti is an emotive movie that appeals to the whole public.

I'm not suggesting that you make action movies, but Acchi flicks Banao and chooses subjects that are pertinent to people. Every filmmaker has the freedom, and I'm not saying we're doing anything bad, but when you choose a niche subject that the majority of India doesn't find interesting, you're beginning from a disadvantage.

Aamir Khan is now preparing for the August 11, 2022 release of Laal Singh Chaddha.
