This movie stars GV Prakash Kumar and Abarnathi in the lead roles. On the occasion of GV Prakash's birthday, the makers of this film have announced today that the first single of it will be out on June 15. This song got crooned by Dhanush and Aditi Rao Hydari. This marks the debut of Aditi as a singer.

Earlier today, the makers have released a teaser video of this song. Titled Kaathodu Kaathanen, this song seems to be a breezy romantic number. GV Prakash composed the music of it and the lyrics got penned by Kabilan. The audiences are quite excited to hear the voice of Aditi as a singer. The actress seems to be quite nervous as she tweeted that she is having butterflies in her tummy. The full song will be out on this 15th at 6 PM.

Vasanthabalan is the one who introduced GV Prakash Kumar as a music director with the 2006 film Veyil. Now, he made a film with the latter as the lead hero. Speaking in an interview, Vasanthabalan expressed his happiness over GV's growth from the music director to an actor. He said that Jail will remain one of the best performances of the actor. The director also assured that it will be very different from GV's earlier characters. The movie will hit the screens once the lockdown gets over.
