Aishwarya Rai shared an emotional note on the death of Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan's death came in as the most heartbreaking news to the world of cinema. He was not only popular in India but also acted in many acclaimed international films. His sudden demise was a shocker for the whole Indian film industry. Irrfan was battling with colon infection for a long time. He breathed his last in Mumbai the other day. His funeral got held in Versova Khabrastan last evening. Meanwhile, his Bollywood and Hollywood colleagues paid last respects to him. Irrfan's Jazbaa co-star Aishwarya Rai also wrote an emotional note on the actor. She termed him as brightest, most genuine, humble, kind and a brave soul.
 
'Heartbreaking news. So saddened to hear about the demise of my dear friend Irrfan... the brightest, most genuine, humble, kind and eventually the bravest soul. May he rest in peace. God bless much love and strength to Sutapa, Babil, Ayan and his loved ones at this very difficult time,' wrote Aishwarya Rai on social media. They both have acted together in the 2015 film Jazbaa.
 
Amitabh Bachan and Abhishek Bachchan have also mourned the death of Irrfan. Amitabh, who worked with Irrfan in Piku, tweeted, 'Just getting news of the passing of Irrfan Khan. This is the most disturbing and sad news. An incredible talent. A gracious colleague. A prolific contributor to the World of Cinema. Left us too soon. Creating a huge vacuum. Prayers and duas.'
 
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, 'Very sad to hear of Irrfan's passing. An immense talent! An actor for whom I had great admiration. My condolences to the family. Rest in Glory'
