Aishwarya Rajesh is not a part of athlete Shanthi's biopic

Aishwarya Rajesh is one of the powerhouse performers in the Tamil film industry. She was last seen in director Virumaandi's Ka Pae Ranasinsingam. Though she has galf a dozen films in the pipeline, Aishwarya Rajesh is patiently waiting for a release. Rumours are rife that she has been roped in to play athlete Shanthi Soundararajan in a biopic that will be directed by Jayaseelan Thavapudhalvi. Shanthi Soundararaja is the first Tamil woman tto win a medal at the Asian Games.

Aishwarya Rajesh's publicist took to Twitter to rubbish it as rumours. Yuvaraj, Aishwarya Rajesh's spokesperson, took to Twitter and wrote,

Actress #AishwaryaRajesh is not playing the lead in the biopic of Athlete Shanthi Soundararajan. No truth in such tweets. Please do not believe any such rumours.@aishu_dil https://t.co/onoXrS6jKM

The biopic of Shanthi Soundararajan has composer Ghibran and sound designer Resul Pookutty as part of the technical crew. Her upcoming films include Bhoomika, Republic, Thittam Irandu, Tuck Jagadish, Driver Jamuna, Dhruva Natchathiram and an untitled remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Soon, details of the release date of Aishwarya Rajesh's films will be out.
