Aishwarya Rajesh opens up about The Great Indian Kitchen's remake

Aiswarya Rajesh is one of the prolific performers in the Tamil film industry. Recently, she was roped in to play the lead role in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam super hit film, The Great Indian Kitchen. Directed by Jeo Baby, the film features Suraj Venjaramoodu and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles. The film was rejected by OTT giants and released on a less popular OTT platform called Neestream. Due to overwhelming reviews, The Great Indian Kitchen had its television premiere as well. Now, the film is presently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Director Kannan is helming the Tamil remake of the film.

Aishwarya Rajesh recently shared some interesting things about the film. She said, "In general, remaking a film is difficult. It's difficult to retain the soul of the original. That was one of the reasons for having to dismiss a few remake offers I had received. But when this opportunity came to me, I wanted to do it. This film has a lot that the present generation needs. I saw a girl while filming Ka Pae Ranasingam. She was married off early. Society doesn't give importance to women's feelings. Be it urban or rural, everyone needs to see this film. This is the first time I am associating with Kannan sir. I am excited about the film, it will come out well.”
