Ajay Devgn Starrer Drishyam 2 Continues Its Stellar Box Office Record; Adds Over Rs. 10 Crores On Tuesday

Drishyam 2, which is starring Ajay Devgn, is breaking records at the box office both domestically and abroad. In its first weekend in India, the movie made over 60 crore rupees, and over 95 crore rupees worldwide. As a result, it surpassed Brahmastra Chapter 1: Shiva to become the second-best Hindi film opening of 2022. Few people were concerned about how the movie would perform in the current market environment when remakes are not doing well. However, Drishyam 2 dispelled the idea that sequels don't perform well at the box office by posting impressive figures.

With a Monday gross of Rs. 11.75 crores, Drishyam 2 performed admirably. Tuesday saw a little decline for the movie, with a net number of about Rs. 10.75 cr. The 5-day India net total is currently at a very impressive Rs. 85.5 Cr, and on Thursday, which is its 7th ticketing day, it will reach the historic Rs. 100 Cr net mark. Despite the arrival of another high-profile movie, Bhediya, the picture will maintain screens in its second week because of the consistent weekday pattern. The strong trend of Drishyam 2, which is anticipated to have a strong second weekend of around Rs. 35 cr net, has considerably impacted the advancements of Bhediya. Given that this year's blockbuster film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 managed to double its first-week numbers in the lifetime run, the same can be expected for Drishyam 2, which is enjoying a similar trend.

Drishyam 2 has 5-day foreign earnings of around $3 million and is quickly approaching the $5 million barrier, which is unusual for Ajay Devgn films.
