Akshay Kumar, who is notorious for pulling practical jokes on the crew, welcomed April 1 by giving fans some of his "prank inspo." The actor uploaded a humorous video of his most recent practical joke to Instagram Reels. Manish Mandhana, the co-founder of Akshay's clothing company FORCE IX, was the target of his prank. Akshay also released a bit of his Bhagam Bhag persona near the end of the video.
In the video, Akshay was shown standing in a studio with his apparel brand's staff employees, who were all involved in his prank on Manish. Manish was raised by the actor using his arms. Next Akshay asked Manish to lift him in a similar way while asking him to support all of his weight with his arms. Manish tried to lift Akshay in his arms again, but failed and complained that it was difficult. Naturally, Akshay needed assistance from a teammate to lift Manish, who appeared surprised by Akshay's "impossible" strength. As soon as they noticed Manish's perplexed expressions, everybody on the set began to hide and laugh.
Akshay captioned the video he shared,
"The best part is Akshay paaji (brother) using his own meme," said one of the comments on his video. Akshay used a clip of himself from the 2006 movie Bhagam Bhag towards the conclusion of the video. Nupur Sanon, sister of actor Kriti Sanon, also left a remark on Akshay's video. "Love it," she wrote. The comments section was filled with a lot of laughing emojis from admirers.
The last time Akshay was on screen was in the Selfiee (2023) movie, which Karan Johar produced and starred Emraan Hashmi, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty. Selfie, which was directed by Raj Mehta, was presented in theatres on February 24. Last year, Akshay appeared in various films, including Raksha Bandhan and Samrat Prithviraj, which failed at the box office.
Akshay is now collaborating with Tiger Shroff on the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays a significant role in the movie as well.
