Akshay Kumar is on a film-signing spree these days. The actor who's currently shooting for Anand L Rai's film Raksha Bandhan has apparently signed another film with Vishnu Bhagnani and director Ranjit Tiwari. With this film, the 53-year-old actor is all set to step into the shoes of the Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal for his role in the Hindi remake of Ratsasan.
According to a report, Akshay Kumar will start shooting for Ratsasan as soon as he completes his schedule for Raksha Bandhan. Ratsasan is 2018 critically acclaimed psycho-thriller centers around the life of a filmmaker turned police officer who investigates the murder of school girls. While the original film starred Amala Paul, the Hindi remake will star the gorgeous Rakul Preet Singh along with Akshay Kumar
The shooting of Ratsasan will commence from August in London and it will follow the same bio-bubble protocols followed during the shooting of Bell Bottom. As far as Akshay's recent films are concerned, Bell Bottom is all set to release in theatres on 27th July. Sooryavanshi is also awaiting a release date after the film got postponed last year due to the pandemic.
