Nani’s Tuck Jagadish, which is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on the 10th of September has locked run-time. As announced by the producer of the film, Sahu Garapati, the film will have a run-time of 2 hours 20 minutes.
Tuck Jagadish is a family entertainer with good dose of action, emotions, and family drama. The film is essentially a commercial potboiler. Given the theme of the film, a run-time of 140 minutes can be deemed optimal.
Tuck Jagadish was initially conceived with theatrical experience in mind. However, the makers had to alter their release plans following the Covid outbreak and the subsequent disruptions in theatrical industry. They then initiated talks with Amazon Prime Video. The OTT giant offered Rs 37 crores for the direct to digital rights of Tuck Jagadish and the makers readily obliged to sell off the relevant rights.
Nani and the director of the film, Shiva Nirvana were initially against the OTT release proposal but they had to oblige to the same after coming to know the plight of the producers.
Tuck Jagadish is now gearing up for Amazon Prime Premieres on the 10th of this month. Thaman scored the music for the film and Shine Screens produced it. The film has Jagapathi Babu, Revathi, and others in supporting roles.
