Tamil cinema has always been on the frontline for making dark thrillers in South India. No other industry in the South produced varied genre films like the Tamil film industry. Thus, small firms have a good run there if provided with good content. Now, yet another small film is coming up with an interesting premise. Titled as Andhagaaram, this supernatural thriller film is being presented by popular director Atlee. The trailer of the film dropped earlier today and is getting rave response from the audience.
Andhagaaram follows the story of three individuals. One of them is a blind conjurer who struggles to survive. The second one is about a failed cricketer's fight for freedom and the last one is about a psychiatrist's quest for reclamation. The trailer looked super intriguing with many interesting elements. Directed by V. Vignarajan, this film features Vinoth Krishnan, Arjun Das, Pooja Ramachandran and Kumar Natarajan in the lead roles. Especially, Arjun Das of Khaithi fame will grab your attention with his impeccable acting skills. He is a promising talent to look out in the future.
Pradeep Kumar's background score has also lifted the trailer's experience to the next level. Andhagaaram is being produced jointly by Sudhan Sundaram, Jayaram, Priya Atlee, and K. Poorna Chandra. It is the second film that is being presented by Atlee, after the 2017 film Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thore. A.M. Edwin Sakay has handled the cinematography of the film. Sathyaraj Natarajan has edited it. The makers will announce the release details once the lockdown gets over.
