AR Rahman joins Simbu and Gautham Menon film

Simbu has woken up from his sleep and is more keen than ever to do quality films. He underwent a drastic physical transformation for director Suseenthiran's Eeswaran during the lockdown. From then, his fans are seeing Simbu version 2.0 as he is on a film signing spree. On February 3, Simbu celebrated his 38th birthday away from his house in Chennai. The teaser of his upcoming film Maanadu released yesterday. Ahead of Simbu's birthday, director Gautham Menon announced that he will be collaborating for a film with him.

Simbu and Gautham Menon had earlier worked with each other in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. On Simbu's birthday, Gautham Menon decided to give a best gift to him and his fans. He took to social media to announce that AR Rahman has been roped in to score the music for their film. This untitled film markrs the third collaboration of Gautham Menon, Simbu and AR Rahman. The new film will be produced by Ishari Ganesh under his banner Vels Film International.
