Upon the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country followed Janata Curfew the other day. Many people stood in their balconies and clapped for the heroes who are serving us during these tough times. Meanwhile, a section of people across the country made rallies when they are actually supposed to only clap at their houses. The netizens lashed out on their irresponsible behaviour. Such recklessness can further spread the disease. Various celebrities like Richa Chadha, Vir Das, Gauhar Khan, Dino Morea has called this as a stupidity. Even Tollywood actor Vishwak Sen lashed out on public for coming out in groups when they are not supposed to.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "India has created HISTORY .. !! #JanataCurfew an unbelievable success .. and at 5 pm .. the entire country on their balconies rooftops gates and doors applauding the true heroes of the Nation .. NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS! I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN JAI HIND."
 
Currently, many states have announced lock-down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
