Chiranjeevi, when was at the peak of his career, bid adieu to films and ventured into politics. He merged his party with Congress and became the minister for tourism. Yet, his political career wasn’t successful, which made him come back to films.
As part of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy movie promotions, Megastar Chiranjeevi spoke to Tamil magazine Ananda Vikatan and made some interesting comments on Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s politics entry.
He asked both the actors to stay away from politics as it is all about money. He further added that even if a person is genuine and wants to do good for the people, it may not allow them to do so.
Chiranjeevi recalled his political journey and said, “When I came to politics, I was at the peak. But, they defeated me in my constituency as my rivals shelled out more money. Same happened with Pawan Kalyan too.”
While Kamal Haasan is overseeing the political works in his own party Makkal Needhi Manian, Rajinikanth is yet to start his own political party.
