A miscreant from the audience threw a slipper at the actor Darshan as he was attending a promotional event for his upcoming action comedy Kranti in Vijayanagara's Hosapete. While the fans adore our favourite celebrities, they can also be rather vicious at times. The Sandalwood actor Darshan was recently involved in such an event. He was on stage in front of a statue of the late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar when it happened.
The authorities are currently looking through the CCTV footage to identify the incident's attackers. Three First Information Reports (FIRs) were submitted at the Hosapate City Police Station. Two special squads are now looking into the situation. Several people have already been questioned by the police.
Darshan previously gained attention for making an offensive remark. The actor is heard stating a video that recently went viral on social media. He said, "Goddess of Luck doesn't knock on the door always. When she knocks, grab her, drag her into your bedroom and strip her naked. If you give her clothes, she will go out." Netizens took offense to the statement and criticized the celebrity for expressing it. Recall that Darshan has been involved in conflicts before as well. The Yajamana star was sentenced to prison in 2011. He was imprisoned for reportedly assaulting his wife.
Returning to Kranti, the film was directed by V. Harikrishna. Rachita Ram, Ravichandran, and Sumalatha are also major characters in the film. The movie's music will be composed by V Harikrishna. It is supported by Shylaja Nag and B. Suresha under the Media House Studio Banner. A. Karunakar handled the film's cinematography. Prakash Karinja is the chief editor, in the meantime.
