Musical Maestros Ilaiyaraaja and A R Rahman will always be the greatest music directors produced by the Indian film industry. Both of them are legends and have inspired many other music directors. One of their fans is star music director Devi Sri Prasad. The Rangasthalam composer is a huge fan of AR Rahman and he told it many times on the public stages. Yesterday, he had shared an old video in which iconic director K. Balachander showered praise on Rahman and felicitated him at an event. He then called Rahman's journey as inspiring.
The video got taken during the initial stages of Rahman as a music composer. Even director Mani Ratnam was present at the event. Sharing this video, Devi tweeted, "I had an Ear to Ear Smile when I watched this video. What an Honour 2 be introduced on stage by d LEGEND Sri.K.Balachander Sir & Living up to his words. @arrahman sir went on to become a LEGEND himself !! What a Journey !! Lov U sir. Inspiring." As Devi Sri Prasad said, it is a great achievement by Rahman to get introduced on stage by Balachander and also living up to his words.
On the career front, Devi Sri Prasad's last project was Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru. His next film will be Uppena. Directed by Buchibabu Sana, this film marks the debut of Panja Vaishnav Tej. Meanwhile, Devi is also composing the music for Allu Arjun's upcoming film Pushpa, which is being directed by Sukumar. This is the third film in the combination of Allu Arjun-Sukumar-Devi Sri Prasad, after Arya and Arya 2.
