Dhanush is riding high on the success of his latest film Asuran, directed by Vetri Maaran. In fact, Asuran starring Manju Warrier, Pasupathy, made it to the list of Top 10 films in Tamil for the year 2019. He also had another release with Gautham Menon’s
Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
Meanwhile, the actor is busy shooting for his next film, which is tentatively shooting D 40. The film, directed by Karthik Subbaraj had produced by Sashikanth of Y NOT Studios. The film’s shooting has been going on from October with the first schedule taking place in picturesque London.
After wrapping up the London schedule, Dhanush joined the D 40 team in Madurai to shoot the rest of the portions. Recently, the actor took to Twitter to reveal that he has completed shooting his portions for the film and had a sweet message for Karthik Subbaraj and producer Sashikanth.
He wrote, “That’s a wrap for D40. One of the quickest films I have done. It was a pleasure to work with such a quirky, sensible and visionary filmmaker like @karthiksubbaraj this one is going to be special. (sic)” The film features Aishwarya Lekshmi and Game Of Thrones Actor James Cosmo in important roles.
