Did Rajamouli commit a mistake by unveiling RRR's first look today?
On one side, there are a lot of positive appreciation for RRR motion poster and there is also criticism for Rajamouli in a big way for promoting the film amidst the global health crisis
Ever since it went on floors, people were eagerly waiting for updates on the RRR movie. But even after one and a half years of its launch, the makers haven't released the first look of the film. Finally, they have unveiled the first look motion poster of the movie this morning. They have revealed it on the occasion of Ugadi festival. Even though it got a tremendous response, there are a set of people who think that the makers have chosen the wrong time to release the poster. They opined that it is not right to promote entertainment products when the world is struggling with the coronavirus pandemic. They stated that director SS Rajamouli made a mistake by releasing it today.
From the last few days, the entire country is fighting against the coronavirus pandemic. From today, it also got locked out. People are being advised to stay at home and work from home. The film releases, shoots and promotional activities got stalled. No other film released its first look poster today expect RRR. Few people opposed makers' decision of releasing it without having any social responsibility. But, there are also a few people who defended the act and said that there is nothing wrong in promoting movies to lighten up the audiences in these tough times. We have to see if Rajamouli opens up on this criticism or not.
RRR features Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris are the leading ladies of it. RRR will hit the screens on January 8th, 2021.
