After Vijay's film Master, Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing Kamal Haasan’s 232nd film, titled Vikram. Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil joined the upcoming film Vikram’s shooting. The actor shared a picture with Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan. “VIKRAM;” Fahad wrote on Facebook as he shared the picture. In addition to Kamal Haasan and Fahad Fasil, the film also features Vijay Setupati, Anthony Varghese, Narain, and Arjun Das.
It was initially reported that Raghava Lawrence would become a villain. Later, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad were cast in the lead roles along with Kamal.
Vikram began filming at the beginning of this month. Haasan also funds the film through his production firm Raaj Kamal Films International. He took to social media to reveal behind-the-scenes footage from the first day of filming.
He captioned the video: “Day one VIKRAM. It was like a high school reunion. This is the longest period of my absence from filming in the last 50 years. Many directors haven’t seen the action for almost a year.”
Kamal Haasan has embarked on Vikram after the much-anticipated sequel to the film Indian failed halfway through. Vikram is coming as Kamal Haasan's 232nd film. According to reports in the Kollywood media, Fahadh Faasil will play the role of a young politician. The story, details, and characters of the film have not been released yet. Apart from Vikram, Fahadh will also play a major role in Allu Arjun's Pushpa.
