Golden Star Ganesh's 'Baana Daariyalli' has been pushed back from March 17th to avoid a clash with Upendra's pan-India film 'Kabzaa,' according to sources. The 'Kabzaa' team announced that their film would be released on March 17th. After the announcement, everyone expected 'Baana Daariyalli' to postpone its release due to a variety of issues.
Originally, director Preetham Gubbi planned to release the picture in December 2022. But it had to be postponed owing to unfinished filming. The 'Baana Daariyalli' team set the release date as March 17th. The date also happens to be late actor Puneeth Rajkumar's birthday. The title of the film is borrowed from the renowned song 'Bhagyavantha' by Puneeth Rajkumar. According to rumors, the team has yet to decide on a release date. Meanwhile, Dhananjaya's 'Hoysala' is set to release on March 30th.
Last month, 'Baana Daariyalli's single 'Ninnanu Noditha,' penned by Arjun Janya, became a massive chartbuster. Sonu Nigam's vocals in Ganesh films have been a fan favorite since the 'Mungaru Male' days.
Ganesh is looking forward to the film since it reunites Ganesh and Preetham Gubbi for the fourth time. Romance has always been a favorite zone for the couple. The film is thus raising fans' expectations. Fans expect that they will reprise their magic after 'Maleyalli Jotheyalli' and 'Dil Rangeela'.
Fans of Ganesh also hope that the film has a good release date. They hope for early release rather than being rushed or clashing with biggies. Such a decision they say would result in the picture falling short of a large screen count.
