OTT giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney Plus are allotting unprecedented budgets for exclusive content creation and development.

 
Here is look at the global subscribers count of OTT giants.
 
Netflix - 208 million
Amazon Prime - 200 million
Disney Plus - 110 million
 
Netflix was largely benefited from its recent decision to introduce a special subscriber plan for mobile users in India. Priced at Rs 200, Netflix’s mobile plan is one of the best in the business and it gave the platform a much wider reach in India as the native audiences found it more feasible and budget-friendly.
 
Amazon Prime Video has been focusing on exclusive content creation and also acquisition of regional biggies. Amazon Prime is bagging the digital streaming rights of almost every Telugu and Tamil A-lister films starring top actors. This is slowly but surely yielding fruitful results for the OTT giant.
 
Disney Plus partnered with Hotstar in India and this platform is predominately focused on the sports sector. They own the exclusive streaming rights of the IPL and that constitutes to much of their organic audiences.
