Arjun Kapoor is all set to make his digital debut on Netflix with his upcoming film called 'Sardar Ka Grandson'. The sweet romantic-comedy film that also stars Neena Gupta, Rakul Preet and more, has its trailer launched today. While the film will release on 18th May on Netflix, its trailer has already got the fans excited. The story is unique and sees the quest of a grandson to take his grandmother to a place that is across the border. Will he be able to finally fulfil her wish or end up failing?
The official synopsis of the film reads, "A story of a romance that spans seven decades and two countries, a story of sub-continental hustling and earthy ingenuity, a story of victory against impossible odds. ‘ Sardar Ka Grandson’ is a strange and sweet tale where petty egos, religion, enmity, borders and oceans of red tape are all finally defeated by the simple humanity of one determined man."
Apart from Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Neena Gupta, Sardar Ka Grandson also stars John Abraham, Aditi Rao Hydari, Soni Razdan, Kumud Mishra, Kanwaljit Singh and Divya Seth, among others. It has been directed by Kaashvie Nayar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani, John Abraham, T-Series Films, Emmay Entertainment & JA Entertainment.
