Rumour has it that director Maruthi approached Gopichand about a possible collaboration and that Gopichand has agreed to star in the film! Gopichand might start working on the film after wrapping up his current projects.
Director Maruthi is one of Tollywood's talented and successful directors. He has given Telugu cinema some fantastic hits like Ee Rojullo and Prati Roju Pandage. The latest buzz about the director is that he wishes to team up with Gopichand for his next film.
Rumour has it, director Maruthi and Gopichand have met and discussed the possibility of a collaboration. Sources say that Gopichand liked the director’s script and has agreed to feature in the film. Sources say that a popular production in Tollywood house might bankroll the film. An official announcement might come our way soon. If things fall into place, the makers might start working on the film later this year.
On the work front, Gopichand was last seen in the 2019 film Chanakya. Gopichand essayed the role of an undercover RAW agent. The film was an average hit. The actor is in somewhat of an average film slump. He is looking forward to bouncing back with the sports flick Seetimaar.
Gopichand will take on the role of kabaddi coach in his upcoming film Seetimaar. Tamannaah will also star in the sports flick as Jwala Reddy, the famous kabaddi coach. Sampath Nandi is directing the film. The film also features actors Tarun Arora, Bhoomika, Rao Ramesh, Posani Murali, Annapurnamma, Pragathi.
Apart from Seetimaar, Gopichand also has Director Teja's upcoming directorial in his kitty. Rumour has it the makers are considering several actresses such as Kajal Aggarwal, Anushka, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sai Pallavi for the female lead role.
