Despite being a star director in Kollywood, director AR Murugadoss has failed to impress with his direct Telugu films. Back in 2006, AR Murugadoss marked his Tollywood directorial debut with 'Stalin' starring Megastar Chiranjeevi which turned out to be a disaster the box office.
After that, recently, AR Murugadoss joined hands with Mahesh Babu and came up with 'Spyder' which also failed to impress the audience and became one of the biggest disasters in Mahesh Babu's career. Talking in an interview, A R Murugadoss said that the failure of Spyder movie still haunts him. "We always knew that there was something going wrong in that film. But I find out what it was. So all our plans backfired," said AR Murugadoss. "The relationship between the director and hero will be good only if the film becomes a hit. But Mahesh Babu is not like that. Even after the failure of the Spyder movie, he has always been very friendly to me. He used to say that failures are common in movies and motivated me with his calls and messages. I have never seen a hero like Mahesh Babu," added AR Murugadoss.
On the other hand, AR Murugadoss is currently busy with his upcoming movie starring Rajinikanth whereas Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' under the direction of Anil Ravipudi is gearing up for a grand release on January 11th.
