Is This The Budget Of Director Shankar's Upcoming Film With Ram Charan?

Director Shankar's Indian 2 is currently on the back burner due to a tiff between him and Lyca Productions, who are producing the film. After being put on hold for over a year, the two parties have decided to settle the issues between them amicably. Before he could complete Indian 2, Shankar announced two big projects. His upcoming film will be with Ram Charan, produced by Dil Raju. After wrapping up this project, director Shankar will helm the Hindi remake of Anniyan with Ranveer Singh. The shooting of Shankar's film is expected to commence on October 21 in June. Last month, the film's pooja took place in Hyderabad with Ranveer Singh and SS Rajamouli as chief guests.

Now, Shankar and his team are quite busy with the pre-production work of the film. Reportedly, he told producer Dil Raju that he would want to make the film at a huge budget of Rs 200 crore. However, Dil Raju had asked Shankar to cut down on the film's budget by 30 crores and bring the overall budget to Rs 170 crore. Shankar said ok and reworked the film's budget. Now, the makers have planned to commence the shooting next week on October 21. While Ram Charan plays two roles in the film, Kiara Advani will play the female lead in the film. The film's music is composed by S Thaman.
