It's Balayya Against Shah Rukh Khan!

The Hindi version of Nandamuri Balakrishna's superhit film, Akhanda, is all set to be released on 25th January. On the same day, Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited film, Pathaan, is all set to be released around the world. This is an interesting scenario, especially in the current situation.

In the recent past, there have been several instances where the dubbed version of a South Indian film did very well at the box office in the North when compared to a direct Hindi film. The best examples of this are Karthikeya 2 and Kantara, both of which were released along with direct Hindi films.

Akhanda is more than a year old, having been released in December 2021. The film turned out to be a huge blockbuster upon release, and the biggest hit of Balayya's career so far. The interval bang, second half, and the background music were loved by all.

While SRK's Pathaan is carrying a very good buzz, there's a lot of interest surrounding Akhanda's performance in the North. This is because the film is filled with Hindu sentiments, which are currently all the rage in the North. Moreover, Pathaan is also carrying a great deal of controversy surrounding it.

A lot of boycott trends are also being carried out against Pathaan in the North. Thus, until the film is really good, it is expected that Akhanda might do better at the box office. If this happens to be the case, then it should be seen how well Akhanda will do.
