We all know how the coronavirus pandemic has affected the film shoots. The country is under the lockdown for the last three months. All the shoots are also canceled due to the lockdown. Now, a few states have eased down the restrictions and allowed film shoots with a few guidelines. Thus, films that are on hold are resuming the works. One of them is the upcoming Bollywood gangster drama Mumbai Saga. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, this film stars John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The makers of this movie are planning a 12-day schedule next month at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
According to the sources, the shooting of Mumbai Saga is in the final stages. The makers initially planned to release it in June. But the pandemic has ruined their plans. Recently, the Government of Telangana gave permission for the shoots with minimal crew. Thus, Sanjay Gupta and his team are planning to head down to Hyderabad to shoot a major schedule. Speaking in a recent interview, Sanjay said that Ramoji Film City has every facility, including, in-house crew, equipment and hotels. He said that they can shoot major portions in the Film City itself. Due to the good accommodation facilities at RFC, there is a low risk-factor of shooting films as well. Thus, the Mumbai Saga team is planning to resume their shooting here.
The film features Kajal Aggarwal, Suneil Shetty, and Prateik Babbar in the other key roles.
