Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra And Janani's Film With Deekay Gets An Interesting Title

Director Deekay is known for making superhit comedy films including Yaamiruka Bayamey, Kavalai Vendam, among others. Last year, he worked on a script that will feature four heroines in lead roles. Yesterday (July 16) being an auspicious day, Deekay and the film's producers announced the title and the first-look poster. The film has been titled Karungaappiam and will feature Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, Janani, and a newbie actress in lead roles. The title looks interesting as it talks about an old literary work. Pave Entertainments and Vetrivel Talkies will be jointly bankrolling the venture while AP Films International will be presenting the film.

Karungaappiam will also feature Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, and Aadav Kannadasan in important roles. Kajal Aggarwal shared the poster on social media. Regina shared the poster and wrote, "My first thought when I heard the story? “Oh damn! So powerful!” And now here’s the #FirstLook of #Karungaapiyam for you! A whole new world. (sic)." Similarly, Janani, who recently changed her name from Janani Iyer, wrote, "I’m sure you guys will love this one! Super happy to have worked with some of the best people out there! #Karungaapiyam (sic)."
