We are already aware that star actress Trisha has left the Chiranjeevi project, Acharya, recently. The actress stated that the creative differences with the makers are the reason for her walkout from the film. Ever since Trisha left the project, the makers were hunting for a new leading lady. We now hear that they have finalized Kajal Aggarwal as the heroine of the project. The actress will take part in the shoot very soon.
According to the sources, the makers considered both Kajal and Anushka Shetty. Apparently, the latter has demanded a hefty remuneration. Thus, the makers decided to settle with Kajal. Moreover, Kajal had already acted with Chiru in the film Khaidi No. 150. The audience has welcomed their pair and thus, the team has also decided to go with it once again. The shoot of Acharya is currently on hold due to the coronavirus scare. It will resume once the situation gets settled down. Kajal will join the sets as soon as the shoot gets resumed.
Acharya is being directed by Koratala Siva. Ram Charan is essaying an important extended cameo in this movie. Mani Sharma is composing the tunes for it. The film is being produced jointly by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy.
Meanwhile, Kajal is now prepping up for her next release Mosagallu. This heist thriller features Manchu Vishnu as the lead hero. The actress is also acting in Tamil biggie Indian 2. Directed by Shankar, this film features Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Kajal is also a part of the upcoming Hindi gangster drama, Mumbai Saga, directed by Sanjay Gupta.
